Rental policies
- Cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your reservation.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation are not allowed.
- No-shows are charged the full reservation amount.
- Security deposits are required for all rentals.
- Weather decisions are made based on conditions at the dock.
- If weather turns during your rental, rain checks are issued for unused time.
- Boat operators must be at least 25 years old.
- Anyone born after September 1, 1993 must hold a Texas Boater Education Certificate to operate.
- Prefer to relax? Add a captain to any rental for $35/hr.
- We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
- A 5% fuel charge applies to all boat rentals.
- Funday Rentals reserves the right to refuse service for violent or intoxicated behavior, or violations of rental policies.
Frequently asked questions
Operators must be 25 or older. If you were born after September 1, 1993, Texas law requires a Boater Education Certificate. No certificate? No problem — add one of our captains for $35/hr.

All rentals depart from our dock at Papa's on the Lake — 14632 TX-105, Montgomery, TX, right on Lake Conroe.
Tritoons and pontoons have a 2-hour minimum, wake boats a 3-hour minimum. On holidays, all boats have a 4-hour minimum.
Yes! Tritoons have tow bars — add a ski tube for $30. Wake boats come with surf boards and a captain who'll coach first-timers.
We make weather calls at the dock. If conditions turn during your rental, you'll get a rain check for the unused time.
